“Home Town Living” Segment

Dr. Mark Sandcock & Steve Chupp from Honoring Choices join Jackie Jerlecki to share about National Healthcare Decision Day. This national day is aimed at raising awareness about advanced care planning. This topic is meant to be discussed with both loved ones and medical professionals. A health care representative would be picked to speak on an individuals behalf & follow through with Advanced Directive Plans. These plans are specific to the individual state & besides selecting a representative the other key aspect of these directives is commonly called a living will. Honoring Choices gives free presentations, consultations, & train individuals to help others with these conversations. The organization is hosting a Living Well Presentation in partnership with St Joe County Library on April 19th with a free lunch. This event requires an RSVP prior to attending.
